The impressed letters "RSR" in the Staffordshire Knot stand for Ridgway, Sparks, & Ridgway.
The numbers "10/74" are a date code for October 1874.

The 8 inch muffin is 210mm in diameter. Earthenware.

The Indus is one of the great rivers of south Asia.
The registration diamond is for 15 June 1877, Parcel 7, for Ridgway, Sparks, & Ridgway, Hanley. Godden lists this as 'Printed design 'Indus''.
The "ENGLAND" indicates this was made after 1891 and long after the registration diamond had any validity. It also illustrates the longevity of the print.

"Deak"

The oval meat dish is 448mm in length and 358mm in width. Earthenware.

Sometimes potters choose some obscure names to give to new patterns. The only Deak I have been able to trace is one Ferenc Deák, who was a prominent Hungarian politician in the 1870s.

This is the Bedford Works version of the Indian Tree print.

Birmah was an old spelling of Burma, now Myanmar.

"Oude" is an old spelling of Oudh, now the Indian province of Awadh.
Oudh played a prominent part in the Indian rebellion of 1857.

There is an impressed date code "11/72" for November 1872.

Cenis is a mountain and pass between France and Italy.
The registration diamond is for 9 October 1871, Parcel 8, for E. J. Ridgway & Sons, Hanley. Godden lists this as 'Printed design for dinner wares'.
The impressed marks are both "2/72", a date code indicating the blanks were made in February 1872.

Godden records that the registration is for two printed designs in eastern style.1
