Pattern 18
Pan Jug ~ Pale Blue

The 10 inch jug is 256mm tall, 188mm lip to handle, and 153mm broad. Pale blue coloured earthenware.

The Urn & Anchor mark, with "W. RIDGWAY & Co." on a ribbon below, would appear to be sprigged on and only occurs on a few of the early jugs.
The "6" is likely to be the number of these jugs in a potter's dozen, which agrees with it being a large jug. The "M" is probably a tally mark.

The 7 inch jug is 171mm tall, 126mm lip to handle, and 97mm broad. Pale blue coloured earthenware.

It is very common for there to be no marks at all on these jugs.
The slightly darker blue of this jug means it may well be later than the marked examples.

The 6 inch jug is 151mm tall, 103mm lip to handle, and 84mm broad. Pale blue coloured earthenware.

The "30" is the number of these jugs in a potter's dozen, which agrees with it being a small jug.
