Cauldon Place
'Zephyr' Tea Shape
T. C. Brown-Westhead, Moore, & Co.
Pattern K/255
Cup and saucer. Bone china.
This is a mismatched pair. The saucer appears small for the cup, and the well in the saucer is smaller than the base of the cup, so the cup does not sit properly in the saucer. It is probable that a tea cup has been paired with a coffee saucer.
The coffee saucer is 132mm in diameter.
The registration diamond is faint and blurred, but appears to read 2 January 1875, Parcel 4.
The tea cup is 65mm high, and 89mm in diameter; the handle protrudes 19mm.
