Geoffrey Godden shows a factory pattern book drawing of a pattern 2/3355 cup of this shape in Ridgway Porcelains (1985), p.121, Plate 133.
Michael Berthoud illustrates three cups of this shape in A Compendium of British Cups (1990), p.154: tea cup 2/2682, Plate 921; coffee cup 2/2745, Plate 919; tea cup 2/2748, Plate 923.

Pattern 2/3291

The pattern book entry for 2/3291 shows a triple-arch-moulded cup with the decoration shown below.

The sugar box is 115mm tall, and 165mm handle to handle. Bone china.
The gilding is somewhat worn.

The 7 inch muffin is 193mm in diameter ('Royal' shape). Bone china.
It must be assumed that muffins were not manufactured in the triple-arch-moulded shape so 'Royal' shape muffins were issued to make up the service.
