Pattern 2/7712 "Souvenir"
For other examples of the same print see the "Souvenir" print page.
The large oval dish from a breakfast service is 320mm long and 270mm wide. Bone china.
The printed mark is puzzling. The date implies reference to the Sculpture Copyright Act of 1797, as amended in 1815. The problem is the wording should be 'Published by' then the company name, then the date. What the number refers to is unknown. 'Published by' marks are not normally numbered. "SOUVENIR" is the print name.

Pattern 2/7924
The pattern book entry reads:
'Drab & Gold Printed & filled in flowers. 2/8282 is Adelaide.'
Sometimes 'Drab' means stone and sometimes grey. In this case it means grey, and 'Adelaide' is beige.
The bread & butter plate is 274mm long and 249mm wide. Bone china.
The pattern is 2/7924, but 2/7923 is written on the plate. Another instance of incorrect numbering by the factory. Luckily we have the pattern book to show the correct number, as well as the tea cup & saucer below.
The tea cup & saucer. Bone china.
The saucer is 153mm in diameter. Bone china.
The Royal Arms backstamp contains the letters "J R" but the mark is blurred and they are barely visible.
The tea cup is 62mm high, 72mm to tip of handle. It is 111mm in diameter, and the handle extends 25mm.

The 8 inch muffin is 197mm in diameter. Bone china.
The second 8 inch muffin is 197mm in diameter. Bone china.
The '2/' part of the pattern number appears to have been left off here. An error of the type the factory was rather prone to.
