I am not certain what this might be. My best guess is the base of a covered vegetable dish. Only further examples can settle it.

The footed dish is 298mm wide and 57mm tall. Earthenware.

The dinner plate is 255mm in diameter. 'Napier' shape. Stone china.

The backstamp is not the one usually associated with this print. The beast appears to be a cockatrice. The significance of this, if any, is uncertain.

Pattern 5474 dessert plate marks

The Royal Arms here is the version with the inescutcheon of Hanover, which was correct for George IV and William IV, but incorrect for Queen Victoria who came to the throne in 1837. Despite this, this version was used by the factory up to the mid 1840s.

The second dessert plate is a replacement produced by T. C. Brown-Westhead, Moore, & Co.
The dessert plate is 228mm in diameter. Stone china.

The pattern book reads:
'is as K/436 only Japaneze [sic] Sh China.'
(K/436 is the same pattern on Richelieu shape.)
The print is referred to elsewhere as 'Penang'.

The milk jug is 67mm high, 89mm lip to handle, and 68mm wide. Bone china.
