"India Temple"

The dinner plate is 280mm in diameter. Earthenware.

Note the tiny figure 2 at the base of the mark. These numerals are common on early Cauldon Place printed pieces and are probably a form of tally mark. It is not part of the mark, but applied separately.

"Japan Flowers"

This pattern should not be confused with the Ridgway, Morley, Wear, & Co. "Japan Flowers" pattern, which is totally different.

The cheese stand is 280mm in diameter and 58mm high. Earthenware.

Note the tiny figure 2 close to the footrim on the underside. These numerals are common on early Cauldon Place printed pieces and are probably a form of tally mark.
