Pattern K/4400 'Souvenir'

The pattern book entry for K/4400 reads:
'is as C/329 only Japaneze [sic] Sh[ape] Ch[ina]'
Unfortunately the pattern book covering C/329 is missing.
This is 'Chinese' shape, not 'Japanese'. The backstamps indicate this was issued in the Cauldon Potteries Ltd. period. That company is known for issuing patterns on shapes other than that for which they were originally intended.
The print name is recorded elsewhere in the pattern books as 'Souvenir'.

For other examples of the same print see the "Souvenir" print page.
