The pattern book shows a picture of the design and states:1
"Burlington Sh: pink Fern filled in Chrome Green, Yellow Green & Turquoise. The Fern pattern C Dish Bottoms all Numbers are printed inside & outside for Wm Mortlock, Daniell & Co. A/1971 Blue finish. A/1972 Chrome Green finish. A/2259 Marone finish. Daniell's Covd Pieces all Round Burlington Gilt the original way. A/2317 is as A/1992 but Burlington Plates, Dishes New Italian & Cauldon Covd Pcs. C6865."
The cheese stand is 306mm in diameter and 55mm high. Earthenware.
The impressed registration diamond is for 26 May 1863, parcel 9. Also impressed is a mark of unknown significance.
