Pattern 4522 "Jesus College"
The dinner plate is 256mm in diameter. 'Napier' shape. Earthenware.
This is a puzzle. The shape and decoration belong to the 1830s, but the impressed date code "8/88" and "ENGLAND" in the backstamp indicate a date of manufacture c.1890. It would help if we knew which Jesus College was involved, but we don't.
